Herndon Funds has its origins from the early 1980's when its predecessor companies were founded. Herndon was born in the aftermath of the 2008-2009 recession. O... ur managers saw opportunity, and recognized a once-in- a-generation moment to acquire real property when prices were depressed well below actual values. From our beginnings as a few apartments and restaurant spaces, we have grown to one of the largest real property owners in its segment. We continue to seek high quality assets that fit our investment criteria, while maintaining the price discipline that has proven so successful.
