Heart for Malawi

Our Focus is on community-based care that provides essentials, and access to education and health care. Malawi, is the one of poorest countries in the world. 70.3 % of the population lives on less than $1.90 a day. The dire situation has left over a million children without one or both parents. The orphan children have few family members that are c... apable of financially taking on another child. The majority of families lack the means to provide basic necessities: food, water, clothing, and shelter. Heart for Malawi, partnered with Grace of God Children's Home, wants to help bridge that gap by supporting the extended family members and giving children access to education. We do not want to solely supply goods for these children to survive, we want to give them a way out of poverty by providing them with educational opportunities and teaching trade skills.
