Hear 2 Learn officially began in the Summer of 2000 as a sole private practice focusing on home-based early intervention services for the many children who were now identified with hearing loss at birth. Hear 2 Learn is an agency of humble beginnings. We officially began in July of 2000 as an audiology based private practice focusing on home-based... early intervention services for the many children who were then identified with hearing loss as a result of the mandated Universal Newborn Hearing Screenings conducted in New York State. Hear 2 Learn, PLLC, as it stands today, embarked on a metamorphosis from the original practice, to a New York State Department of Health and Education approved, multi-faceted professional agency in 2005. We provide a full range of comprehensive services for children with developmental delays, including sensory deficits, including hearing loss. In September 2007, Hear 2 Learn expanded into clinical audiology services with a full service pediatric audiology clinic that currently provides a wide-range of diagnostic and dispensing services. Aligning with the agencys core values, Hear 2 Learn provides community leadership and service in a variety of ways. From the inception of the CHAP (Childrens Hearing Aid Program), in partnership with Aurora of Central New York, to our many public and private preschool collaborations, Hear 2 Learn continues to share its broad and deep bench of experienced clinicians and educators to enhance learning in center based daycare and preschool settings.
