Healthy Lives is offered by Franciscan Health & Wellness Services, a part of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System which includes five hospitals throughout Louisiana-St. Francis Medical Center, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Our Lady of the Angels Hospital and St. Elizabeth Hos... pital. With the clinical expertise of the largest health system in Louisiana backing Healthy Lives, employers can be confident that the advice and care they receive from the Healthy Lives team is rooted in our 100-year tradition of healthcare. The Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System launched Healthy Lives with its more than 10,000 employees and 13,000 insured members, with an 80% participation rate. In the five years since its inception, Healthy Lives effectively engaged members, improved health and quality, and saved the organization money. Franciscan Health & Wellness Services has taken a leading role to address the changing landscape of healthcare and is now helping dozens of employers and several other health systems around the country manage their healthcare costs through its innovative Healthy Lives program. In June of 2015, the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System earned recognition as a Best Employer for Healthy Lifestyles for the fourth consecutive year. This award is given annually by the National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of large U.S. employers. Companies that demonstrate an ongoing commitment and dedication to promoting a healthy workplace and encouraging their workers and families to pursue and maintain healthy lifestyles are recognized with this award.
