About HBH Good Eats
From humble beginnings, owner and founder Boris Fong got his first gig as a line cook at a Scarborough bowling alley at the age of 16. Making his way through the ranks, he eventually earned his way in becoming an Executive Chef, working at several restaurants throughout the GTA. Located in the heart of downtown on the historic Main Street, Hungry Brew Hops Public House & Eatery (HBH) is Newmarket's first gastropub (and York Region for that matter). Since then, we have gone on to open our second restaurant next door, lil' hops tavern, in February 2016. Not be outdone, of course, we opened our third restaurant in July 2018 with HopBop Noodle Shop across the street.
