Hayter Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1957 to serve the municipal client as an extension of its staff. Established on a commitment to excellence,the firm operates today under the direction of the second generation of the Hayter family. With corporate offices in Paris, TX, the firm continues to serve the municipal client with the same commitment to excellence, but now also serves water utilities, private developers, industrial groups, and consultants throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Leadership of Hayter Engineering brings a rich history of working with the municipal and local government both as a consultant, as well as employees of several entities throughout Texas. This provides a unique and strong understanding of these client types - understanding of their responsibility to the community and their constituency. Principals of Hayter Engineering routinely assist local governments secure funding for their projects and serve as a trusted advisor in helping to manage those community assets. From the beginning, Hayter Engineering has sought ways to better serve its community. Founder, Robert B. Hayter worked closely with community leaders in 1965 to develop a water supply system serving Lamar County Water Supply District and adjacent counties.
