Meet the Haven in Paris Team: Erica Berman, Creator ERICA BERMANCreator Erica Berman grew up in the US. After graduating from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Journalism, and surviving a summer of intensive language immersion at Middlebury College (Vermont), Erica came to Paris with hopes of submerging herself in French culture and perfecting her French. The goal; remain in France 6-12 months before heading back to the US to look for a real job. Many years later her Parisian experiences range from waitressing in a wine bar, attending photography school, founding another successful vacation rental company and decorating a lot of Parisian apartments. Since 2006 she has been the creator, manager and owner of Haven in Paris and the blog HiP Paris. Erica now lives in Maine and visits Paris and Italy as often as possible.
