Haven Books is a dynamic English-language press based in Hong Kong. Our books focus primarily on Asian and international themes, and are enjoyed worldwide by readers of all ages. We publish strong, fresh titles on a wide variety of topics - including exciting fiction, cookbooks, photography and travel books, children's illustrated books, young adul... t novels, and reference books. A founding member of the Independent Publishers of Hong Kong, Haven Books actively promotes Asia-based writers and literary organizations. Publisher Dania Shawwa Abuali entered into book publishing in New York City, where she edited publications for the Morgan Library and Rizzoli Publishing. In Hong Kong, she was the managing editor of Imprint, an annual anthology of women's writing, and president of the Women in Publishing Society ( www.hkwips.org) before forming Haven Books.Read More
