Harvey Associates

Harvey Associates was formed in January 2000 as an offshoot of E.B. Harvey and Associates, which was in business from 1934 until December of 1999. Scott Andersen and John McMullen are the principals of the new agency. We cover the six New England States with four sales people who all carried over from the old agency. With E.B. Harvey, we represente... d and warehoused Arvin Exhaust and Gabriel Ride Control as our anchor lines since 1974. The death of Chip Harvey precipitated the closing of the warehouse and agency and Arvin decided to service their market with existing direct reps. Harvey Associates was formed to assume the remaining lines. From January 2000 through today we have more than tripled the agencys business while only adding a few, select lines. At the end of 2005, Cliff Fenton retired from the firm but we soon added Don Mathes in early 2006, bringing his 30 years of industry experience onto our team. We do not believe in representing hundreds of product lines or building a large staff. Instead, each of our men has extensive experience in the automotive aftermarket, expertise with each of our factory lines, and personal relationships with our customers.
