This allows us to provi... de a broad and balanced curriculum as well as the diverse opportunities in extra-curricular learning which are so crucial to developing wider skills and confidence in pupils. As much as classroom learning, it is often these extra-curricular opportunities which provide pupils with 'break-through' moments that accelerate their personal and social development and provide some of the most distinctive and lasting memories of education for pupils. A particular source of pride for us a Harper Green is our involvement in the Arts, stemming from our many years as an Arts College prior to the present government ceasing this national initiative. The facilities, skills and experience gained from Arts College status are aspects of the school we wish to retain and develop as key tools in our mission to explore and develop an understanding of ourselves and others and to achieve our true potential in life.
