Hanfia Mosque

Hanfia Mosque and Educational Instituteis a non-profit-making organisation set up by dedicated, professional Muslims, under the guidance of Peer Mufti Ghulam Sarwar Naqshbandi. The main aim of the Institute is to provide an extensive education in traditional Islam. This is achieved through the provision of numerous classes, study circles, seminars... and conferences for everyone regardless of age, gender or background. Quranic and Hadeeth classes of various levels are held on a daily basis for children and adults at the centre. Facilities for congregational prayers are available in the main Mosque hall with separate arrangements made for sisters for Jumah prayers. Weekly study circles for both brothers and sisters provide them with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the laws and practices of all aspects of Islam. Regular nasheed circles in Arabic, English and Urdu encourage spiritual enlightenment for Muslims yearning to have their hearts touched by emotional poetry regarding the attributes of Allah subhanahu wata'ala and the perfected characteristics of His beloved Prophet sallallaah alaihi wasalam. Seminars and Deen Intensive courses are held on a monthly basis where learned scholars are invited from around the country.
