Hello! My name is Hana Ilg. Originally from San Francisco, California now living in Amsterdam, Netherlands with my amazing husband, Brooks. I could talk about womens health all day. Menstruation, fertility, hormones, birth, postpartum things so much a part of me, yet I didnt learn about how they truly worked until I was in my 20s. Thankfully there... is an awakening of women who are reconnecting to the wisdom of our bodies and cycles. When we reconnect with that wisdom, things like the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM), essential oils, and natural birth just makes sense. Thats how it happened for me at least. I first learned the Fertility Awareness Method and it was like finding a hidden treasure. I have now been using the Fertility Awareness Method for 7 years to avoid pregnancy naturally! Every woman deserves to know that FAM is a viable option, so that is why I made it my mission to share about it and to become certified to teach it. Many women are on birth control for things other than preventing pregnancy. Weather it is for irregular cycles, acne, painful periods etc. the pill is seen as a one size fits all solution, when in reality it is just a band aid covering up theses symptoms. Through studying nutrition, I realized that there are so many natural ways that we can get to the root causes of these symptoms and actually help support our bodies to heal. One of the first places to start in balancing hormones is to ditch toxic chemicals in our homes. That is how I discovered essential oils, and they became a bridge to living a more natural lifestyle. I knew essential oils could be a bridge for so many other women too, so I started sharing them with everyone I knew. After getting deep into this womens health work, I also discovered that not only do our bodies have an intrinsic wisdom for our cycles and fertility, but also for birth.
