About Hamrick's
Hamricks is a family owned and operated business that started over 70 years ago. In 1945, Oliver and Edna Hamrick purchased a small grocery and general merchandise store. As the business and the family grew the Hamricks began buying and selling closeout fabric to area mills. Today, the Hamricks family continues to follow their parents dream. Brothers Kelly, Barry, Mike and Jim along with Ann and Dinah all continue the success that their parents started. Even some of the grandchildren and great grandchildren are working to continue the family name. Barry Hamrick, president of Hamricks Inc. says my parents saw a need and filled it as far as selection, quality, price and a pleasant environment to shop in. Our goal is to continue that vision every day. Currently, Hamricks operates 20 store locations in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia.
