Hallidays moved to the new purpose built offices near the Pyramid in 2008 and have developed into far more than just a firm of accountants in that time. Hallidays' plan for the future is to host a number of events, bringing together like-minded investors who can share the investment risks. Hallidays director Paul Whitney says: "We have high net worth clients who want to invest, and also businesses who need investment. We simply bring them together at the Business Angels events. "So far, around 65 per cent of the money that was needed has been pledged." Hallidays have also joined Russell Bedford's global network of independent accountants as Manchester's representative. Paul adds: "Russell Bedford will give Hallidays and their clients access to a worldwide network of professional service firms, giving them specialists in the right place with an understanding of the big picture and local knowledge. It will further complement Hallidays' already strong personal service based on established relationships. For over 10 years, Hallidays' clients have voted personal service as one of the key things they love about Hallidays along with approachability and other areas such as speed of response, fixed fees and helping to grow their businesses." In addition their competitive advantage was increased even further when they joined The Corporate Finance Network, becoming the exclusive representative for the south Manchester and north Cheshire area.
