I like making people feel like they can achieve a good hair day every day, so i really like to work with what is best for the hair type and the personality of the person to achieve a style that is easy for them. Established in 1990. For 18 years I operated my own salon, "Hair Theatrix", while also working on many TV and film projects around NYC. (i... e: The Sopranos, SNL, Law&Order, All My Children, As The World Turns, and many movies ( too numerous too mention). I found over the years I really enjoyed the one to one of the salon and was spending more time there. Recently I closed up my salon and decided to rent a chair to give me a little more flexibility. I am located at "Capelli D'Oro 5th Avenue". I couldn't ask for a better location or a better group of people! I still love hairdressing after 33 years in the business and look forward to always meeting new people and new heads of hair. I'm doing some teaching which is great and love being around young creative, talented people. Originally from Rochester, N.Y. I moved to NYC to work in the hair rooms of Broadway shows. I got my foot in the door and the rest as they say is history. Broadway was a great training ground and I loved working in the theater. I moved on to TV and film which was equally as interesting. I especially love working on period films. I met my husband, a photographer to do hair and make-up and here we are 27 years later.Read More
