Haiku

First time ordering from here - yummy! :) The rice was seasoned well and cooked perfectly (no mush & no crunch), the fish tasted super fresh (especially the salmon lunch) and there was a lot packed into each roll. Love to see that . I didn't have high hopes for the wonton soup but it was really flavorful too. Especially with the lunch prices, I fee... l like I really got my money's worth and more. They delivered early and were pleasant at the door. I've ordered from a whole lot of sushi places in the area over the last couple years and so far this has been the best! Haiku is the best sushi in White Plains. But they also make really good Chinese food. I always order General Tao's chicken and their wonton soup. Out of 5. The General Tao's chicken is always a 4. And I give the wonton soup 5 out of 5 it's delicious. Sushi is about a 4 out of 5 if you go there and order it fresh. If you get the sushi delivered, it drops down to a 3. It loses some quality on delivery, waiting around, getting warm etc... But overall Haiku is a 4 out of 5. And they are always consistent!!!! Delicious food and fast service. Highly recommend the unicorn roll, though they have a generous listing of other yummy items, as well. If you can't make it to their charming restaurant in person, I highly recommend ordering take-out. I know I can't expect it every time, but the deliver was faster than expected and the sushi has always been consistently good. Great food- always much earlier than the estimated time they provide.
