This licence has existed from 1970, and the company is the oldest existing licencee for Hallmark worldwide. We at present service markets from Guyana on the mainland through the Caribbean chain to Belize in Central America. The company is also the sole agent for all Hallmark product on the island of Trinidad. The manufacturing operation based at the Fernandes Industrial estate in Laventille is a full modern printing operation dedicated to the manufacture of Greeting cards and gift wrap. The excess capacity is utilized to fulfill some commercial printing jobs for selected customers. The printing operation if compared to other commercial printeries on the island would be one of those on the list of the ten largest. The capabilities of the printing operation with its focus on short run lengths and high quality allows it to produce contract jobs for other Hallmark licencees worldwide, and has produced product for Costa Rica, Hallmark Puerto Rico, Italy, Greece, Spain, Russia and South Africa. The retail side of the business is 6 Hallmark card stores located in Trinidad. The locations are primarily mall locations, they are The Falls at West Mall, Movie Towne Port Of Spain, Valpark Shopping Plaza, Grand Bazaar, Price Plaza Chaguanas and Carlton Centre in San Fernando.
