Founded in 2000 by Mr. Goldstein and Mr. Gurbuz, Goldstein, Gurbuz and Robertson is a small, intimate law firm with a focus on providing a personalized approach in the representation of its clients. Originally established as a personal injury law firm, the practice areas have expanded over the years to include civil litigation, criminal defense, elder abuse, environmental law, family law, and probate. Mr. Goldstein and Mr. Gurbuz met in 1997 while working for an insurance defense firm which primarily represented defendants in civil litigation cases. After years of working for insurance defense firms, they decided to open their own practice with a focus on helping people rather than insurance companies. In 2007, Joy L. Robertson joined the firm bringing with her years of experience in representing clients in mass tort litigation. Ms. Robertson was one of the primary lawyers responsible for representing hundreds of plaintiffs in the well known "Erin Brockovich" case. With Ms. Robertson's knowledge and experience Goldstein, Gurbuz & Robertson has successfully represented dozens of victims of toxic contamination.
