About Guardian Security Systems
Ned E. Hahn founded Guardian Security Systems, Inc, in 1974. Employed in Fairbanks, Mr. Hahn was dissatisfied with the service his alarm company employer was providing customers. With $85 and a drill bought on credit he sold his motorcycle and gun for enough cash to purchase a demonstration kit and car to come to Anchorage and start his own company. Now, forty years later, Guardian Security monitors alarm and fire systems and provides security personnel throughout the state of Alaska. From Barrow to Fairbanks Guardian is proud to employ guards, patrol officers, dispatchers, technicians, installers, and office personnel. Guardian proudly has employees that have been with the company for more than thirty years.
