GSWAN connects all 26 Districts, 225 Talukas ultimately interconnecting more than 3200 GoG offices for secure digital communication. From 1st May, 2011 onwards GSWAN bandwidth bandwidth has been increased from 4 Mbps to 34 Mbps (750% increased) at all District Centers to State Center and from 2 Mbps to 10 Mbps (400% increased) in Taluka Centers, al... ong with from 4 Mbps to 34 Mbps (750% increased) in clusters -27 links at District leading almost 100% uptime performance of the network. GSWAN has 32746 users which show 118.30% increase in no. of users utilizing GSWAN connectivity compared to situation before 2 years. On GSWAN more than 45000 mails get processed on daily bases that show 80% increase in mail processing capacity. All districts use daily average of 55% of bandwidth of GSWAN for data processing. At state level average 85 Giga Data Frames, at district level average 3 Peta Data Frames & at taluka level average 11 Giga Data Frames are processed monthly by the means of stronger GSWAN backbone. There has been 44% increase in logging complain calls for GSWAN issues in last 2 years which shows vital awareness of using the Network by end users and efficient administration has managed to solve 100% of them.GSWAN facilitates webcasting (WC) and video conferencing (VC) for G2G and G2C communication with yearly average 150+ WC/VC combined together.
