Grund Technical Solutions (GTS) develops and manufactures new concept Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Testers for semiconductor integrated circuits (IC's). GTS products are used for ESD compliance testing and are tools for ESD related IC design research and development testing. The company was founded five years ago by a group of engineers who have extensive experience in design and manufacturing ESD test equipment. The founders include the top managers and engineers of Oryx Instruments, formerly the second largest ESD test equipment supplier, and all founders have worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific which purchased Oryx. After leaving Thermo, the engineering team formed GTS to build ESD test systems which meet the latest industry requirements and the newest ESD testing standards. GTS now offers custom designs, adds automation to existing equipment, and sells a modular line of test equipment that can be configured to meet users' current test and measurement needs and provides future extensibility.
