Growing Places Therapy Services, PLLC is a pediatric therapy practice providing physical, occupational, and speech therapies to children from 0-21 years in Austin and surrounding areas. Our mission is to help your child grow to reach his or her full potential. We know that your child has unique physical, developmental, emotional, and social needs.... We'll emphasize goals of independence and functionality, and design a custom treatment plan that fits your whole family's needs. Our therapists are hand selected for their talents, and excel at making the hard work of therapy seem like play to your child. Children learn best in familiar surroundings, and therapists learn best what children's needs are when we can observe them there. We provide physical, occupational, or speech therapy sessions in the home, school, daycare, or even in the neighborhood park or swimming pool. Our work can be functional and practical there, directly impacting your child's ability to grow in his or her natural environment. Moreover, working in these real-world environments facilitates the sharing of information and strategies between therapists and parents, teachers, and other caregivers. By partnering with all members of your child's community, we help your child not only to develop new skills, but also to apply them to everyday life with support. Our therapists are happy to consult with all members of your child's medical team, including physicians, school therapists, equipment vendor, or orthotist.
