About Growing Gardens
Growing Gardens is a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating community through gardening. Growing Gardens provides field trips to groups of elementary aged school children through our Children's Peace Garden Program utilizing engaging, hands-on garden activities to enhance existing science and social studies curriculum. Field trips can be scheduled from March - November on our site for visiting school groups (up to 60 children) for up to 2 hours of programming. Field trips are available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 9-12 or Wednesday, Thursday or Friday afternoons from 12 - 2:30. After school hours are also available. If these dates or times don't work for your class, please call Annie to arrange a time that will work with your schedule.
