Since time immemorial trees have sustained life on earth providing two important needs of life, food and oxygen. The importance of trees on earth cuts across all socio-economic, environmental and political spheres of life. It is therefore important to note that trees are more than important, they are invaluable Dear fellow citizens of the world, I... am excited to announce the launch of Grow a Tree Foundation (GTF). For a long time young generations have been robbed by older generations of the chance to live in a cleaner, safer and greener environment. Due to our endless desires for a good life and luxury, we have destroyed millions of trees either through land clearance for agriculture, luxury furniture, housing developments and many anthropogenic activities, sadly many indigenous trees have gone extinct along the way with some being rare species. Time has come for action! we have to combine efforts to protect our trees, our environment and our natural resources not only for us but for generations to come as the saying goes we do not inherit the earth from our ancestors but we borrow it from our children.
