Grenfell Tower Inquiry

The Prime Minister announced on 15 June 2017 a public Inquiry into the fire at Grenfell Tower on the night of 14 June 2017. The Grenfell Tower Inquiry will examine the circumstances leading up to and surrounding the fire. For the purposes of se... ction 5 of the Inquiries Act 2005 , the Inquiry was formally set up on 15 August 2017 and the Prime Minister set the Terms of Reference following a public consultation led by the Chairman. The Inquiry is investigating a List of Issues that has been separated into two phases. Phase 1 focuses on the factual narrative of the events on the night of 14 June 2017.
