Greentree has been serving Shadescrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center since 2007. Greentree has contributed above and beyond a typical psychological service company. Along with traditional psychosocial care, they have provided our residents and staff with special activities during annual events such as National Nursing Home Week, Nurses Week,... CNA Week, as well as other holiday events. Our current Clinical Psychologist is beneficial to both our residents and staff in many ways. In our facility, she has the challenge of working with not only a very diverse age range, but also with those whom have long histories of Psychological issues and diagnosis. Our psychologist is extremely efficient and timely with documentation. She communicates effectively with staff, and is able to not only learn more about our patients from their perspective, but also teach our staff ways to maintain the residents' Psychological well-being on a daily basis. She has been a tremendous asset to families who are adjusting to LTC placement and/or have questions regarding diagnosis, medications, etc. Our Psychologist goes out of her way to make herself available for many of the meetings that our facility provides: family care plan meetings, physician's QA meetings, and one-on-one patient assessment and follow-up. Our residents see our Psychologist not only as a Clinician, but as a friend with whom they feel comfortable sharing very serious personal issues, as well as daily achievements and/or set-backs. They actually seek her out upon seeing her in the hallways. Always friendly, approachable, and informative, she has become a vital part of our family. Shadescrest is impressed with the services that Greentree has provided our patients, families, and staff.
