GreenN Cte d'Ivoire

On December 3rd, 2005, ORICEL became the fourth license issued by Ivorian authorities to operate as a mobile phone company. From that date till 2007, the responsible of ORICEL worked alone to open the network. With the entering of LAP GreenN in 2007 as a major shareholder (75%) a new breath arose and assisted to give way for the creation of GreenN... CI the fifth operator. On the 22nd of December 2008 GreenN CI was officially launched with a never before seen launch in simultaneously in 10cities at the same time throughout Cte dIvoire GreenN as a social operator met the publics adhesion and reached in a few months more than 925 000 subscribers. Unfortunately the years 2010 and 2011 affected the companys dynamic with the crisis both in Cte dIvoire and Libya. But with strength and determination, the all staff worked to maintain the business and GreenN CI is back.
