About Greenfield Gardens
Greenfield Gardens was established in 1981 by Frank Groeneveld Sr. and his son Elbert. The original operation started out with 5000 sq/ft. of greenhouse growing poinsettias and bedding plants. Two years later another 2500 sq/ft. was added on. In 1985 it was determined that a new location was necessary to accommodate the growth of GFG. In 1986 the current location was founded and 29,000 square footage was added on. We grew bedding plants, pot mums, poinsettias and hydrangeas. We have since expanded further and our operation is now 70,000 sq/ft indoor and approx. X acres outdoor for seasonal crops. In 2017, we built approx. 139,000 square footage, that is used for weekly crops. These weekly crops include begonias, tropicals, succulents and aloe vera. On the logistics side, we continue to import and deliver product for Beekenkamp, ForemostCo, and Vitro Plus.
