Green Things

Green Things is a family owned and operated plant nursery serving Tucson since 1970. Located in the Catalina Foothills at the Binghampton Historic District. Green Things provides plants, pottery, garden art and related services to the general public as well as businesses in the Horticulture Trade including: landscapers, florists, designers, archite... cts, contractors, resorts, churches, restaurants and retail outlets. A growing plant nursery, Green Things produces the majority of its own crops including annuals, geraniums, cyclamen, houseplants, cacti and agaves, succulents, desert perennials and vines. In keeping with our roots as a Truck Farm, Green Things is one of the last remaining producers of poinsettias in Arizona. Over 25,000 poinsettias are produced annually at our plant nursery, and are distributed throughout the state. Beyond poinsettias for the holiday season, Green Things produces Christmas Cactus, Cyclamen, Paper Whites, Succulent Gift Bowls and many other holiday treats! We are truly Tucson's destination for living gifts. Easily accessible from the Rillito River Path between Brandi Fenton Park and the Tucson Racquet Club, our plant nursery is a relaxing respite from every day city life. Home to 33 greenhouses and a huge 13 acres of growing grounds, Green Things is chock full of plants of all types, and pottery from around the world. We search the globe for new pottery and garden art design styles; travelling from the plant nursery to Mexico, Europe, Asia and South America throughout each year. Talavera direct from Oaxaca, Puebla, and Dolores Hidalgo is available in a myriad of sizes, shapes, colors and designs. Vietnamese pottery, Buddha Heads, stone and ceramic animal figures, gazing balls, and ornamental plants such as mushrooms can be found in our 4000 square foot nursery retail building.
