Great Southern Dredging, Inc. is a women-owned, small business that does varied forms of site preparation projects as well as general heavy civil construction throughout the gulf south region. We have completed contracts for the Orleans Levee Board, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the LSU Health Sciences System; as well as other projects for stat... e and local governments from Texas to Florida. We have licensed civil engineers on staff as well as experienced personnel that have been in construction in the Greater New Orleans area for over 30 years. This knowledge and experience provides an understanding about the unique nature of this region, of both its construction challenges and its history.
