We, the adults who establish this program for our children at play, commit ourselves to the fundamental proposition that we will meet the age appropriate needs of all those children we serve. We strive to redefine what it is to be a winner, away from only the scoreboard, and toward goals that include trying your hardest, good sportsmanship, and lea... rning from - not fearing mistakes. We are committed to a system of equal playing time for all children, regardless of ability. We will remember that spontaneous play, creativity, and a love of the game are the ingredients of great players, and great games. We agree that SCREAMING at children playing ball by coaches or spectators is counter productive and SERVES NO PURPOSE.
