GRD Freight Express, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Business committed to serving the needs of customers and shippers. Our Home Office is located in Holt, Florida and our Agents are located across America. Our key personnel have a combined trucking industry experience of 60+ years ranging from truck driver, dispatcher, broker, broker-agent, operations manag... er, broker/agent trainer, Government freight to back-office accounting/management. We are knowledgeable in all phases of logistics and are poised and ready to assist you with any need. GRD was founded in 2008 in Central Pennsylvania and relocated to Florida in December 2011. We have grown significantly during this interim and are looking forward to continued growth, while still maintaining our core values of honesty and integrity in everything we do. GRD Freight Express, Inc. was built on the principles of honesty, integrity, fairness and trust in all of our dealings with customers, shippers, suppliers, carriers, agents, and employees. We consider our team our family. Our President is Joette Mateer, a Pennsylvania native with a Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and a Master's degree from West Virginia University. She was employed by the Federal Government until her retirement, at which time she began her second career with GRD Freight Express, Inc. She is a skilled people communicator who manages the business/accounting side of GRD while still maintaining direct interactions with all agents and other personnel. She has worked in the transportation industry for over 10 years constantly acquiring additional knowledge of all phases of logistics. Joel Glenny is our Agent Coordinator who also hails from Pennsylvania. Most of his career has been spent in some phase of the transportation industry beginning with his time spent in the Army.
