Evan Granoff grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Vermont. He worked as an investment advisor for L.F. Rothschild Unterberg Towbin for five years, Citigroup for eighteen years, and as a property investment manager for Koffler Associates before he joined Granoff Associates, LLC in 1997. Evan has spe... nt his career working to develop and re-develop historically significant buildings in the greater Providence, Rhode Island area. Much of Evans recent work has focused on the capital citys financial district in the neighborhood between Weybosset Street and Westminster Street. Granoff Associates led the renovations of the Turks Head Building and the Union Trust Building , two of the most recognizable and historically important structures in downtown Providence, improving their occupancy rates from less than 50% to above 85%. Granoff Associates also converted Old Colony Bank into the successful Hampton Inn Hotel in partnership with First Bristol Corporation. Evans new company, 130 Westminster Street Associates, LLC recently redeveloped one of the most historically significant buildings in Rhode Island, the Westminster Arcade , now known as Arcade Providence. The renovations and revival of this National Historic Landmark building have brought great excitement and national attention to Rhode Island's capital city. Its transformation has preserved the buildings history and injected a modern concept bringing small business retail and a residential community together in its unique atrium.
