If not, we would welcome permanency through adoption. Regardless, every child deserves a healthy permanent family. All people are created in the image of God, and... valuable. Sin has marred God's design and brought suffering. Redemption involves both protection and restoration. We strive for the restoration of the child's natural family when possible. We support a normalized experience for children in residential and foster care. Developmental stages are delayed or missed due to trauma. We give ourselves to the child before asking the child to give to us. We must leave our world to enter the world of a traumatized child. Methods that produce desired outcomes are implemented. Adaptation of methods to fit individual needs is acceptable. Consistent modalities increase evaluation potentials. Provide the best residential and foster care services so children may develop physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually--giving them the best opportunity to thrive in a permanent family. We will hire, train, develop and support the greatest staff. We will cultivate a culture of redemptive presence by showing love, grace, truth, peace, kindness, patience, compassion and forgiveness to one another. We will provide excellent facilities, programs and living conditions for our children. Grace Children's Home actively recruits and supports foster care parents who are committed to providing temporary care to children placed outside of their natural homes, while promoting permanency for the child. Grace provides training, licensing, and financial support to foster parents. Grace Children's Home understands that not all kids can find stability and healing in a foster home.
