We are a niche company based in Cumbria dedicated to helping walkers and outdoor enthusiasts learn how to explore and use the latest GPS Technology to navigate safely wherever they might find themselves. We are committed to giving you the highest possible level of training and assistance to achieve your goals. GPST was formed in 2003 by Peter Judd... & Simon Brown who are both Lake District National Park Voluntary Rangers. Simon and Peter has since retired and the company is now wholly owned Jon Monks, who laso runs Shepherds Walks. We initially delivered courses in Cumbria but as demand has grown, we have expanded nationwide. We haven't lost sight of the fundamentals that motivated us to form our company and our intention is to stay a small focused company giving a 'second to none' personal service. We have built a small but highly knowledgeable team of experts (mostly drawn from our circle of friends and ranger colleagues) able to provide first class personal training. We're fussy about where we deliver our training and prefer to use village halls in scenic locations. You can be sure when you come on one of our courses you will be in the hands of a team of friendly experts who enjoy passing on their accumulated knowledge to like-minded enthusiasts in an enjoyable and relaxed way, all taking place at venues with walking straight out of the door.Read More
