Gould Farm

Gould Farm, established in 1913, is the first residential therapeutic community in the United States focused on assisting adults with mental health challenges in achieving recovery and independence through community living, meaningful work, and clinical care. The organization provides a supportive environment for individuals dealing with conditions... such as depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, offering a full continuum of services including individual therapy and vocational counseling. With programs located in both Boston and the Berkshires, Gould Farm also facilitates transitional support for guests preparing for independent living. The community emphasizes inclusivity and the belief that recovery is fostered through shared humanity and diverse interactions.Read More
