Gombe Holdings, also commonly known as 'Broadway Investments', is a diversified investment holding group which was founded by Oliver Mandishona Chidawu in 1989. The Group is comprised of 'Gombe Property & Infrastrucure', 'Gombe Resources', 'Gombe Agri-Business', 'Gombe Financial Services' and 'Gombe IT', divisions which are largely comprised of com... panies within the real estate, construction, building materials, mining, agriculture, financial services, manufacturing and IT sectors, respectively. Our divisions are broken down as follows: Gombe Property & Infrastructure is largely comprised of companies which are within the Kuchi Holdings Group of Companies. Companies such Bitumen Construction Services (BCS), Kuchi Construction, Kuchi Electrical Services and the Rowdrix Group of Companies; amongst others. Gombe Financial Services is currently comprised of companies within the Heritage Insurance Group, an insurance company with short term, life and medical insurance, as well as funeral assurance. Historically, the Group was also a founder & investor in BancAbc, a diversified banking group listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange, in addition to a secondary listing on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange. Gombe Agribusiness is currently comprised of Stafford Estates, a group of farms of approximately, 6000 hectares located in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe and Kawambwa Tea Estate in Zambia. Gombe Resources made an investment in Mwana Africa plc, in 2004, a mining conglomerate listed on the AIM stock exchange in the UK. Gombe Resources was elected a partner to Anglo Platinum in the establishment of Unki Mine in Zimbabwe. The Division is currently focusing on investments in mineral resources, with an emphasis on precious metals and energy.
