Golden Gate Garrison

The Golden Gate Garrison is a Star Wars fan group that is part of the 501st Stormtrooper Legion. The 501st is the premier Star Wars costuming group in the world. No matter where you live, chances are their presence can be felt. Spanning all 50 U.S. States and over 21 countries worldwide, the 501st Legion contributes to the community while celebrati... ng the Star Wars universe. The Golden Gate Garrison spans most of Northern California, (excluding the Central Valley which is served by the Central California Garrison) although most of our members are in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. We are a non-profit group for the purpose of bringing together Star Wars costume enthusiasts and using that enthusiasm to not only promote all forms of Star Wars related activities, but use our notariety in support of community and charitable events. We are available for all manner of public or private events. Visiting children's groups, hospitals, providing atmosphere for promotions and corporate events, as well as making public appearances in parades, are among just a few of the activities the Golden Gate Garrison has participated in.
