Reporting to the Busin... ess Development Director you will be responsible for the following areas: Identify new opportunities for Gold Key Media within the Events/Publishing industries and actively promote the company's full range of services in both sectors to ensure that group targets are hit Oversee the Sales and Marketing process, ensuring that the appropriate literature is produced according to schedule and communicated out to the sales team for onward selling to publisher clients Develop Event industry contacts in the UK and internationally to increase the involvement we can offer our clients Secure Media Partnerships with event organisers Work in conjunction with PR and Marketing to ensure that Gold Key Media is effectively promoted within the Events industry, using social media, newsletters, and participating in trade events Develop Gold Key Media's digital platform for sampling publications at events, working across both publisher and venue teams Ideal candidate: The successful candidate will have proven account management, organisational ability, sales skills, as well as a high level of enthusiasm. They will be comfortable working individually and as part of a team in an often pressurised environment. They will have strong commercial skills and able to work on own initiative. They will also ideally have a knowledge/understanding of trade and consumer events. Essential qualifying criteria is six years' experience working in Publishing or Events.
