Students develop real world professional skills as they are embedded in partner businesses. GO CAPS gives students the chance to explore their interests in five... areas: Engineering and Manufacturing, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Medicine and Health Care. Students attend a morning session (8-10:30 a.m.) or an afternoon session (noon-2:30 p.m.) every day throughout the school year. Business partners are the cornerstone of the program, by providing guest lecturers and instruction, hosting internships/job shadowing opportunities or mentoring students, serving on an advisory council to influence curriculum, creating a client project for students to partner on, hosting students at the business, providing equipment/supplies, or sending students through the companys professional development.
