As part of the whole global effort, medical institutions have been and are continually being established to provide training to graduates and postgraduates in medical courses with an idea to raise the health standards of the population. Introduction of the medical college at Baramulla is yet another effort in the same direction. It forms a very important milestone for the region in particular and health care centers in general.
