GLX Constructors is a fully integrated construction joint venture comprising Fluor Enterprises, Inc. (Fluor), The Middlesex Corporation (Middlesex), Herzog Contracting Corp. (Herzog), and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. (Balfour Beatty), in association with our lead designer, STV Incorporated (STV). We specifically created GLX Constructors to o... ffer the MBTA and the communities of Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, and Boston the requisite expertise, resources, and capacity to deliver a cost-effective, sustainable rail system project in a safe and timely manner. Our commitment is to execute the Green Line Extension Project to increase mobility throughout this historic area-improving air quality, distributing the volume of transit riders, and supporting sustainable development along the way. Our team members have locally partnered with the MBTA for more than 35 years, and we carry years of complex rail experience-individually and collectively-to meet the needs of those who depend on the Green Line daily.
