The Global Society of Homeland and National Security Professionals is an international organization comprised of homeland and national security professionals throughout the world including, government and private sector responders from all friendly nations. Our members have a role in the protection of assets against threats, risks and vulnerabiliti... es arising from attacks on our people, critical infrastructure and key resources, that emanate from within or outside our borders. Our members represent every prevention, protection, preparedness and response sector involved in this fight. Our goal embodies the definition of Homeland Security itself in that we support and enhance the "national effort" through education, collaboration and peer review. We do this, "to insure a homeland that is safe, secure and resilient against terrorism and other hazards"... where our aspirations and ways of life can thrive in the effort to prevent terrorist attacks.
