Global Learning Alliance

Global Learning Alliance was founded, originally as the European Training Group in 1997, to serve a new and quickly growing international IT training market. The Alliance's early customers were large enterprises that required IT training for a European-wide workforce that has since grown to include many prestigious Global 2000 organizations. Local... partners would secure engagements in their own country and turn to Global Learning Alliance and its international network to deliver the training in other countries. The group recognized that an outstanding business opportunity existed to more-proactively seek international business and developed a support structure for this network of companies. This enabled the Alliance to assist partners to secure large-scale, complex, multi-country enterprise engagements. The Alliance introduced a project management service - needed to support the world's largest IT training contracts and, on behalf of the partner network, negotiated supply contracts with e-learning and IT training industry vendors to secure new e-learning technologies and courseware, increasingly required by the network. Today, the Alliance assists companies in the network to implement and blend the latest e-learning technologies across instructor-led IT training programmes. Global Learning Alliance is an independent entity with a network of companies spanning three hundred and twenty-five locations in over eighty countries and a full staff of project management, course administration, business development and marketing professionals based out of the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.
