I have been a designer for over 30 years and a yoga practitioner for quite sometime too. Women often came to me after a yoga workout, complaining how ill-fitting some of their garments were, so I felt compelled to do something about it. The human body is no different from a building in a sense, so I have employed some of the techniques of an architect to structure and design garments for the yoga function. Glenda studied Knitwear Design at Nottingham Trent University and was a buyer for M&S. She subsequently studied for a PGCE and taught Art and Design & Textiles at schools and colleges in the London area. She is also a costume designer for Fete Dominik UK one of the main Notting Hill Carnival float groups.
