Kindergarten philosophy: At Gladstone Kindergarten quality relationships with every child, family and our community are essential to childrens learning. We provide a challenging, nurturing, play- based learning environment where every child has the right and opportunity to achieve their potential. Literacy and numeracy are our core business, as is providing quality teaching and learning. The Accelerated Reader program is used to engage children in reading for understanding and intervention is provided for children who require extra support. With Early Years Services [playgroup, occasional care, CAYHS & kindergarten] on site, transitions between services and Reception are seamless for children. Early Years enjoy a new facility including a natural outdoor play space, a large deck with an enclosable room, 2 learning areas, withdrawal space and kitchen facilities.
