Currently, Glacier Products Ltd is the only ice cream company in Kenya to have had ISO 21979:2005 certification, which has since been upgraded to FSSC 21979. This latter certification is fully recognized by the Global Food Safety Iniciative (GFSI), and shows that the company observes the highest hygiene standards and stringent procedures to ensure that only safe and quality products are delivered to customers. Also Dairyland is HALAL certified, and suitable for lacto vegetarians. Thanks to its fan base, Dairyland has been awarded Superbrand status from 2009 to present.
