About Giant Steps CT School
The American Institute for Neuro-Integrative Development (AIND) was established in 1992 as a not-for-profit organization in Connecticut, primarily to develop the Giant Steps CT School. The organization focused on enhancing the lives of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), developmental disabilities, and related neurological impairments through education, medical research, and advocacy. Unfortunately, after 27 years of operation, the school closed its doors on June 30, 2020, due to challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
