G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering (GHRCE) Nagpur, established in 1996, is an autonomous institution affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The institute became autonomous in 2010 for a period of six years till 2016 and UGC has renewed autonomous status till 2022. It is ranked 67th PAN India in Engineering Discipline as decl... ared by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2017, MHRD, Government of India. It is ranked in the band 100-150 PAN India in Engineering Discipline as declared by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2018, MHRD, Government of India. Institute is also ranked 69th PAN India by India Today MDRA Survey 2018. GHRCE ranked 111th PAN-India in Engineering Discipline as declared by NIRF Ranking 2019. The institute has brought many reforms under Autonomy, which prominently includes strengthening engagements with industries, implementation of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Credit Transfer Scheme (CTS) with VJTI Mumbai, College of Engineering, Pune and IIT Gandhinagar. It has partnered with IIT Powai for NMEICT and adopted modern teaching learning practices with blended MOOCS, Google class room, Akash tablets, Virtual labs and E-yantra project, etc. under MHRD. It has executed QEEE (Quality Enhancement in Engineering Education), a programme of IIT Madras under TEQIP-II. For executing this programme, it has been listed under partner category for last two years. Every department has Departmental Industry Advisory Board (DIAB) and Board of Studies with two industry representatives. Industry experts are involved in framing the curriculum, guiding and evaluating projects. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) maintains quality of all its processes. GHRCE offers 07 Undergraduate, 12 Postgraduate and 07 Doctoral progammes with total intake of 1434. The total strength of students is around 5000.
