About George Jansen
George Jansen writer/editor I'm George Jansen: overweight, over sixty, six feet tall, and mostly bald. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Nikki left-George right When George had hair I've never done anything spectacular no grand adventures or exploits although I did have a lot of fun in the hippy era. I never married. I have no children one of the regrets of my life. I was very ill with Crohn's Disease for several years when I was in my twenties, but I've been pretty good ever since. I've been thoroughly committed to writing since the early seventies when I was in the masters in creative writing program at San Francisco State University. I've worked as an editor on a number of technical books, and I've had several short stories published. I've also written two novels that I'm very proud of: The Jesse James Scrapbook, published by Hilliard & Harris, and The Fade-away, published by Pocol Press.
